Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has been making headlines both on and off the field — not only for his continued NFL dominance but also for his high-profile relationship with pop icon Taylor Swift. Now, the tight end has sparked buzz for a different reason: his hair.
Kelce appeared at the start of the 2024 NFL season sporting a noticeably longer hairstyle, a shift from the shorter cuts he’s traditionally worn throughout his career. While the style change was largely met with praise from fans, some began speculating that the sudden transformation was the result of a hair transplant.
However, Kelce’s longtime barber, Vince Garcia, has put those rumors to rest.
“Nah, not at all, man,” Garcia told Us Weekly. “That’s a full head of hair right there.”
The comments from Garcia, a close member of Kelce’s inner circle, were quick to dispel the speculation. According to Garcia, the tight end’s hair is entirely natural — no surgical enhancement required.
Kelce’s growing cultural presence, bolstered by his on-field talent and relationship with Swift, has made him a subject of constant public scrutiny. Even minor changes in his appearance, like a new haircut, don’t go unnoticed.
Despite the distractions, Kelce continues to focus on his football career. In the 2024 season, he recorded 97 receptions for 823 yards and three touchdowns. Though the Chiefs fell short of securing a third consecutive Super Bowl title, Kelce confirmed his return for the 2025 season, pushing off retirement once again.
In the meantime, Kelce has kept a relatively low profile during the offseason, training quietly while spending time with Swift away from the public eye. And as for his hair — it’s officially all his.
