Fredrik Eklund is ushering in the spring season with a fresh new look. Over the weekend, the Million Dollar Listing New York and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star shared glimpses of his life on Instagram, starting with a stylish haircut.
In a post on his Instagram Stories, Eklund revealed a behind-the-scenes moment while getting a trim, writing, “Haircut time.” The photo, showing him in a barber’s chair, highlighted his freshly cut hair—neatly styled with added volume on top. He tagged stylist Mark Bustos for the trim.
In between his personal grooming and a hectic work schedule, Eklund also gave followers an inside look at his whirlwind career week. Documenting his travels, he shared, “Bye NYC… now [plane emoji] to London,” alongside a photo of himself preparing for an overseas work trip. He added, “6 hours flight to try to sleep and then straight to meetings there all day after a quick change.”
Despite his jam-packed agenda, Eklund found time to reflect on the journey. In another post, he captured a moment aboard the plane, appearing stressed yet grateful. “You have nothing to complain about Freddy, and you always wanted this so shut up!” he wrote, reminding himself to stay positive.
Eklund’s latest hairstyle is a shift from the striking platinum blonde look he debuted in early 2024. In January, the real estate mogul surprised fans with his bold platinum blonde pompadour, sharing the change with the caption, “The Category is: Blonde Ambition.” A year later, his hair had grown out into a longer, lighter style, maintaining neat sides and a voluminous top with honey-brown highlights.
For those wondering whether a trim was overdue, Eklund quickly shut down any speculation. “I’m not cutting it,” he confidently stated in a follow-up post.
This recent change isn’t the first time Eklund has shared his commitment to his hair. In a 2015 Nightline interview, he revealed he spent about $275 every three weeks on haircuts, explaining that the investment was worthwhile. “The haircuts are expensive, but it’s a piece that you wear every day of your life, and everyone is going to see it,” he said.
Eklund also shared his philosophy on appearance and success, stating, “I think 10 percent of your income should go to clothing. This coat was $3,000… Selling is universal. We are all selling. When you go on a date, you are selling. When you go on a job interview, you are selling.”
